This week students settled in to the class with some get to know you activities and a little bit of science. Friday we learned about levels of organization in the human body and different types of cells. They used Lego to create a diagram of the levels of organization and then drew and explained why they chose the pieces they did to represent each level: Cells, Tissue, Organ, Organ System and Organism. or they created graphic organizers and discussed in pairs the levels and why cells are so important. Then we watched a video on the Cell Theory and students completed notes.
Next week we will start the Cells PBL/Project...can't wait to get started....
